Mike Cimino, (b. 1975) composer, musician, producer, draws from a palate of eclectic genres, sounds, and philosophies to achieve his own personal style of music.  He holds a D.M.A. in Music Composition with a minor in Music Theory from the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut.

As the 2014-16 Composition Fellow and recipient of the 2014/15 Music Theory Assistantship at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut, Cimino has mentored and guided many young composers in the development of their compositional voice.

Cimino's works have been performed by Cygus Ensemble, Redshift Ensemble, SOLI Ensemble, 20/20 Ensemble, John Chernoff, Orchestra dB, HSU Jazz Orchestra, and countless students willing to support this ambitious new composer with their time and energy.

With a major influence from jazz, metal, and world music, Mike Cimino can't help but blur the lines of distinction with a fresh, new perspective.
